MISSION STATEMENT FOR RESEARCH CONCEPTS
Goal No.1 - To develop and advance formal axiology as a science.
Goal No.2 - To recognize Robert S. Hartman's philosophy as a
beginning of value science.
Goal No.3 - To keep the Hartman publications in print at a
reasonable cost.
Goal No.4 - To encourage and support research that will advance
formal axiology and the process of critical thinking.
Goal No.5 To support the Robert S. Hartman Institute for Formal
and Applied Axiology in the Philosophy, Education, and Psychology
Departments at the University of Tennessee - Knoxville,
and to help to maintain the R. S. Hartman Special
Collection at the James Hoskins Graduate Library,
U of T, Knoxville.
